Note: I’m trying to develop a better way to track everyone so please be patient.
Some common questions:
- How do I count my walking days? For now, walking mileage will count the same as running – but make sure it is during dedicated exercise time.
- What about biking? This is primarily a running challenge that allows for some walking to accommodate new runners. Biking is great exercise and is a form of forward movement so kudos for doing it. If you are doing it as dedicated exercise, you can include 1/10 the mileage towards the challenge. (i.e. if you bike for 20 miles, you can include 2 in the miles for the total.
- What about swimming? Another great form of exercise but doesn’t count towards this challenge. If you are running in water due to an injury, we can include that.
