Congratulations! >20% done (Nov. 14)

I am very impressed! We have done 20% in about 10 weeks. There is a shot that we can finish within a year – just have to keep moving and sending me the mileage. I am finding that I NEED to get out and move every day so the challenge is already a success for me. I’ll keep moving and hope to add more miles to the weekly totals. Some people have asked for a schedule to follow. I will put...

Nov. 7 – just keep moving, just keep moving…

Thank you to everyone who is getting out in the horrible weather and sharing their miles. I’ve been getting out there every day but have slumped in effort. With colds and various other excuses, a lot of my contributions have been walks. It will get better. And so will your experience. freaking sick

This really sucks. I’ve been sick for over a week! I’ve managed to get out walking but it isn’t the same as running. This has given me new appreciation for Terry Fox’s drive and fitness. I hope to get to become more fit so I don’t have to resort to walking but can just do shorter jogs. I’ll let you know when I get back to jogging… I’ll probably...

bad back

Being active every day is great! I’m happy to get out there and I feel a lot better. But I hurt my back on Saturday night.  Nothing exciting but fell on the patio door divider.  I managed to get out the door on Sunday for a short walk (1 mile only) but it did feel a bit better moving around.  I thought I had only bruised it but… I went to the doctor today and well, I have some...
